Crave Culinary Festival
Who doesn’t love the chance to try great food? The upcoming Crave Culinary Festival will give you just that opportunity. This festival is being hosted by Mark Arts and offers a variety of culinary experiences for five days beginning on September 17. This festival includes interactive workshops such as “Espresso 101” and “Moroccan Magic” on the 17th, and “Hot, sour, salty, and sweet” on the 24th.
Mark Arts’ website writes that “The festival culminates on Saturday, Sept. 21 with a Foodie Fair where guests can enjoy a keynote talk by restaurant industry veteran Scott Redler and sample food from local chefs and restaurants.” In the mood for food? Field of Screams
Are you searching for a thrilling experience as the Halloween season approaches? Field of Screams might be the perfect choice for you. Field of Screams Kansas is the “state’s premier haunted attraction” and according to their website is “not just a haunted attraction; it’s an unparalleled experience offering the most diverse and spine-chilling adventures around.”
Witness an up close and personal horror experience as you walk through Field of Screams and Clown Town in Maize Kansas. The first available day to visit Field of Screams Kansas is coming up soon on September 20!
Wichita Thunder
If you’re a sports fan Wichita has options for you as well. Hockey fans in particular will enjoy attending a Wichita Thunder game. Wichita Thunder is a minor league team affiliated with the San Jose Sharks from the National Hockey League.
The season starts very soon, running from October through April. All home games for the Thunder are played in Wichita’s own INTRUST Bank Arena. Check out a Wichita Thunder game if you are craving some fast-paced hockey fun!
